Who was Nonna Tina?
Concettina Ielo was born in Pizzo, Calabria, in 1935.
Raised in an orphanage during the war, she learned to cook beautiful, affordable, rustic food, then brought those recipes to Sydney with Nonno Tony and raised eight children. Her grandson Adam started Nonna Tina's in 2021 so more people could taste her cooking at least once.
